Dr. Brian Vaillant is board-certified in both neurology and neuro-oncology and serves as co-director of Seton Brain & Spine Institute's Brain & Spine Tumor program. Dr. Vaillant received his undergraduate degree as well as his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He fulfilled his residency in neurology at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle and completed both a neuro-oncology fellowship and research fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Vaillant specializes in the care of patients with brain and spinal tumors (both primary and metastatic) as well as patients with neurological complications due to cancer. He has a special interest in glioma stem cell research and translational research.
Dr. Vaillant is licensed in Texas and California, and he is a diplomate with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
